The Pavilion and Hiring

The Pavilion building contains a fully equipped kitchen, open space for your function, wifi, toilets (including disabled facilities), hearing loop, showers with changing rooms, and a wonderful large veranda with views over the playing field to the village and church in the distance.

Various table layouts can provide for small tables (for example; for playing cards, quizzes, etc.), family get togethers (birthdays or anniversaries), business meetings, or no tables at all and just use for physical activities such as Pilates or yoga or whatever. Just call a trustee to discuss. There are examples of table layouts below for you to consider.

If you wish to hire for a function, or hire to provide for a club or regular function, please contact a trustee to discuss via dowlishwakeplayingfield@gmail.com. The scale for hire charges can be found here for reference. A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking and the total fee paid 1 week in advance of the event. A marquee is available for some of the summer months which can be hired for an additional charge of £100. There is a discount for residents of Dowlish Wake and Kingstone.
